Week 3 Review, MVPs now in, Who's In The Lead? ☘️

It’s Week 4 and the Ireland Collegiate fires are burning bright, I wonder what the next 5 days will hold for us? ☘️

Highlights from Week 3 📰 

First, let’s start with some of the stand out moments from last week that showcased exactly what Ireland Collegiate is all about… 👇

1. QUB took to their Reboot Gaming Cafe to play their Tuesday Rocket League games there 🖥️

2. QUB followed this up by taking no prisoners on Counter Strike 2, winning both their games on stream 13-0 🔥

3. Christvr of Belfast Met put on a live show in TFT this week taking home 2 firsts, in the second game hitting 8 Shapeshifter with both Smolder 2 & Briar 2 ♟️

Impressive performances last week 👀

While we saw a lot of big plays last week and individuals putting their teams on their back for a carry, our casters picked out these 3 as standouts. Pandaa, a Rocket League SETU veteran of our series, once again demonstrated his skill creating back to back opportunities and keeping up possession throughout.

With QUB’s back to back 13-0’s on Counter Strike 2 it was hard to pick one player but Sundis was fragging out and causing carnage. Finally, we have Pluto of UCD pulling out the Rell to put a CC lock on the game and ensure every teamfight was a win for his team. 🏅

How’s the leaderboard looking? 📋

Last week we saw a 3 way tie at the top, but that has been broken as UCD emerge leaders going into Week 4! While it’s still very much all to play for, it’s interesting to see last years Collegiate Challenge finalists falling behind in places 3rd and 4th 🤔
